26# Overview of the Equalify platform
This page is intended for **Project Leads and Stakeholders** to understand how the platform supports organizational accessibility goals. This section provides a high-level overview of the platform's features and how Equalify provides a centralized environment to help you and your team monitor accessibility trends and meet your organization’s accessibility goals.
## Role in accessibility monitoring
When you run an audit, Equalify scans your web pages and documents for accessibility issues. You’ll see a total count of these blockers on your dashboard. The objective is to resolve all detected blockers. Here are three ways to clear your list:
- **Fix it:** Update the page or document so the error disappears.
- **Retire it:** If a page is old or no longer needed, taking it down removes the problem entirely.
- **Ignore it:** If a "blocker" is actually a false alarm or something you can't control right now, you can hide it so it doesn't clutter your dashboard.
## Why Equalify Helps You
Equalify provides a centralized environment for tracking accessibility remediation progress. By utilizing the dashboard, teams can:
- **Monitor Remediation Trends:** Track the reduction of "Blocker" counts over time to validate the impact of accessibility updates.
- **Establish Measurable Benchmarks:** Set quantifiable objectives, such as resolving all critical issues prior to a site launch or reducing total error volume by a specific percentage.
- **Centralize Documentation:** Provide a single source of truth for the organization, ensuring all stakeholders—from management to developers—identify and prioritize the same remediation tasks.
